I did not anticipate these being the first pictures of my new place. But the universe sometimes makes decisions for us.
I came home Wednesday night, and knew something was odd when I enter my bedroom. The curtains in my sublet had been hung on a tension wire running across the room. Apparently whoever installed the wire did not know or care about find studs. The wire was only put in the straight drywall. The drywall had finally given way and peeled back like piece of skin.
Not a big deal, a trip to what passed for Home Depot in NYC for some spackle.
It is just after a long, busy week it was one more thing to deal with.
